Rosalin Hertrich ist Performerin, Tanz- und Theaterpädagogin und angehende Yogalehrerin. Sie absolvierte ein Magisterstudium in Theater- und Medienwissenschaften, die BuT® Weiterbildung Theaterpädagogik und die Fortbildung Somatic Education (Moving on Center). In Berlin ist sie Gründungsmitglied von Das Kollaktiv (Physical Theatre Berlin).
In ihren Performance Projekten arbeitet Rosalin als unterrichtende Künstlerin, Choreographin, Regisseurin und/ oder Performerin. Stets auf der Suche nach neuen Möglichkeiten des performativen Ausdrucks kombiniert sie Elemente ihres Theater- und Bewegungswissens. Hierfür nutzt sie Ansätze aus somatischer Arbeit, Physical Theatre, zeitgenössischem Tanz und Butoh. In ihren Projekten erforscht sie anthropologische, soziologische und philosophische Gedanken ebenso wie Phänomene der zeitgenössischen Gesellschaft auf interdisziplinäre Art und Weise.
Rosalin arbeitet an der Schnittstelle zwischen Kunst und sozialem Raum. Auf der Suche nach Verknüpfungen, Konfrontationen und dem "Dazwischen" verschmelzen künstlerischer Ausdrucks und echtes Leben, Theorie und Praxis, Wahrnehmung und Handlung, Subjekt und Objekt. In stets neuen Schaffenskontexten kollaboriert sie mit Kunstschaffenden unterschiedlicher Disziplinen und agiert in pädagogischen Kontexten.

Rosalin Hertrich is a performer, teaching artist and Yoga Teacher (in education). She completed Magister studies in Theatre & Media Science and graduated in Theatre Pedagogy. In Berlin, she became a somatic educator (Moving on Center) and co-founded the Physical Theatre teaching and artistic community Das Kollaktiv.
In her performance projects, Rosalin works as a teaching artist, choreographer, director and/ or performer. She combines the elements of her theatre- and movement-knowledge in the search for new possibilities of performative expression. Therefore she uses approaches from somatic work, physical theatre, contemporary dance and Butoh. She explores anthropologic, sociological and philosophical thoughts, as well as phenomena of contemporary society in a performative-interdisciplinary-bodily way, transforming them into aesthetic formats.
Rosalin works at the intersection between art and social space – blurring the artistic bubble. Finding new crossections and confrontations between artistic expression and real life. Finding always new contexts to work together with artists from different disciplines, amateurs, as well as non professionals and in educational contexts.
